Series lore and name
The Ornery Onion is a bothersome bud that seeks to make a meal of farmers and adventurers that mistake it for a common cepa. This fetid foliage has another thing coming however; its weak stats leave it the one crying more often than not. Its saving grace is the medicinal herbs that growth from its head; throwing them around heals and helps allies, as well as itself.

Using Ornery onion
Ornery onion sits in the Plant family.
In DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Withered World you do not fight beside your monsters — you build the party and command it. Up to four monsters are active with four more in reserve, and synthesis is the main way to raise a keeper: combine two monsters from level 10 and the child inherits the parents' talents, with a Plus Value that can lift it past their rank.
